Hello, blossoms ~
Autumn is literally around the corner and that means that I must pay more attention to taking care of my skin. With the air getting colder, my skin needs an extra layer of protection. Lips included. That’s why I prefer to use thicker and richer lip products during colder months. I was very happy when I found LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask available for review purposes on YesStyle. Since it’s a sponsored product, I received it for free ~ Thank you very much ^^

In the past, I had already tried the pink [berry] version of this lip mask. It was super pink and sweet and I truly had fallen in love with it ♥ LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask has a thick, creamy consistency and its texture is very soft. I usually apply it in a thick layer before going to sleep or during the day when I’m not going anywhere.

It has a vivid, neon green colour and fresh, apple lime scent. It reminds me of a green popsicle named Twister which brings warm memories to me ♥ There’s a little rubber spatula with protective sachet included in the small box, too. Packaging of 20g volume is a bit pricey, but if you ask me: Is the LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask worth it? I’d answer Yes and no at the same time. Let me explain.

LANEIGE was one of the first Korean skincare brands that I’ve ever tried. Back then, something like sleeping masks sounded so futuristic – especially where I am from. That’s why when I laid my hands on the packaging of Laneige’s sleeping masks, it felt somehow surreal, miraculous and luxurious to me. Lip Sleeping Mask by LANEIGE provides your lips with hydration, smoothness, plumpness and softness. The product should also remove dead skin cells.

When applied on the lips in a thin layer, it looks like a lip gloss ♥ On the other hand, however .. The LANEIGE’s Lip Sleeping Mask is very sticky .. And I mean V E R Y sticky. When you like falling asleep on your side, it’s quite problematic with the lip mask on, because all the thick stickiness will transfer onto the sheets. In the end, I’d say, it’s the product I’d recommend you to try, but it’s not a necessity to have in your vanity 🙂
